Mini Cabin
This is a design for a small cabin for 2 people. Though the cabin is fully equipped with a kitchen and bath, it is meant for short stays. The wood frame cabin is 14’ wide by 22’ long for a total of 284sqft of space (308sqft – 24sqft for the porch)
The interior consists of a main room (10’ x 14’) that is equipped with a cast iron fire box/stove. The room is double height. A small sitting area is located off of the main room.
A sleeping loft is located in the rear of the cabin. Below the loft is a small kitchen and bathroom.
This second sketch is of the cabins at the resort “Carneros Inn” located in Napa Valley. Their resort cabins were a jumping off point for my design.
