FreeGreen Competition, part 7
This is part 7 in a series following my design for a design competition that calls for the design of a lake side cabin retreat. The following images are my final submission images to the competition. Some of these drawings you’ve seen in previous posts, some are completely new, and some are cleaned up for the submission.
This rendering (above) shows the cabin as viewed from the lake. This image was shown in the previous post. This cabin was created in a program called 3D Studio Max. The rendering was then composited with the background and foreground images in photoshop.
This is a new rendering, showing the rear of the cabin. The image was made in the same fashion as the first image.
Here we see the 4 diagrams that describe the initial design intent. I’ve organized them onto a single sheet.
These 3D line drawings were first seen in part 4 of this series. The same model was used for these drawings and the color renderings above. The only difference is the materials that were applied to the 3D model.
Above is the site plan and site section. This drawing and the following drawings were drawn in AutoCAD with color added in Photoshop.
